I just want to bring this up

I have seen a couple post on tumblr that are really bothering me.

1. Fans of Set it OF PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop fighting each other. This is not helping anyone and really shitty to read about. We love all of you so damn much and we don’t want to see you fight over silly things like who knew about the band first. If someone wants to support us and talk about us let them. This only makes us a stronger family.

2. I have been seeing a lot of post about Cody and Maxx getting all the credit in the band and Austin Dan and I are not getting enough. This only bothers me because thats not what Set it off is about. We are not making music and playing shows to become more popular. We all want to be in this band and take it as far as we can because we LOVE playing music, and we love helping people out and change how they feel about something or someone. I don’t care if Maxx has more post about him or if Cody has more follower on twitter. Thats just not what this is all about and I hope no ones sees us like that.

That being said I just want to say thanks to everyone who is supporting us still to this day. It’s been a long road but Set it off is truly just getting started. Horrible Kids is coming out June 14th and I can honestly say that I am the most excited for this record more anything ever forever whenever together. We have a lot of big things happening for us and it’s just the start of a lot of things to come, and really it all comes back to the Fans and what you have done for us. We love each and everyone of you from the bottom of our hearts. Thanks so much for helping me and the guys make our dreams come true.

Name Change.

So this has been a long time coming. I am no longer going to be going by Zach Something. I have gone back to my original last name of DeWall. There is a long and personal story on why I am doing this. I know everyones reaction to this is either going to be ” DUDE I SO KNEW YOUR LAST NAME WASN’T SOMETHING!!@#!!@!@!#$%!~”  Or “Hey why did you lie to me about your last name being Something.”

Heres what I will say about all that Jazzy mic Jazz Jazz. I want everyone to know it was not a lie my last name was Something, it truly was. Although what a lot of people did not know is that I have two legal last names, but when I was born my parents gave me the last Name of Dewall. Then at about the age of 15 I found out about the other last name and I asked my parents to help me change it to Something. So here we are today.

“But ZACHHHHH WHY DID YOU CHANGE YOUR NAME BACK!??!?!?#)$ SOMETHING WAS SUCH A COOL LAST NAME!#)!()$*”

Well good question person that Imagined asking me that question. It’s kind of a respect thing. I don’t want to go into to much detail other then that I felt like I was not representing my family in my name. 

So from now on I will be know as Zachary Kenneth DeWall.
